We warmly welcome all children and families. Welcome implies listening, openness and a sense of wellbeing that comes from being welcomed with pleasure. We strive for this at all times in all aspects of the nursery.
We understand that parents are a child‘s first educator and we encourage you to play a full and active role in your child‘s experience with us. We want to make decisions together that ensure your child thrives.
Mutual understanding and respect is the best way for families and staff to work together to provide the most appropriate care and education for children.
Regular communication
We welcome parents contributions at the nursery and staff are available at the beginning and end of sessions to talk about any concerns or interests.
Our noticeboards share the latest information about our activities and the monthly newsletter gives an insight into life at the nursery.
We welcome your contributions to your child’s Learning Journal, sharing significant events and observations from their home life. Journals are readily available for the children to explore and contribute to at any time during the nursery day. Journals will also be sent home at different times throughout the course of the day. You can take your child’s learning journal home at any point by asking a member of nursery staff.
