Primary 5 have been learning about colonisation in Australia. They have been creating Aboriginal inspired artwork using pointillism techniques and natural colours. They have also been learning about and creating their own resist prints.

Primary 5 have been creating their own cartoon characters and learning how to animate them.
Science- Air Resistance
Today we explored air resistance. The children created shapes with different area sizes and predicted which would wall quickest. We then had a parachute challenge to see who could create the most air resistance to safely land their parachute.

Everyone is excited it’s gymnastics time. So many skills are being learned and fun had by all.

Primary 5 have been compiling their own surveys, and then using their IT skills to create bar graphs and pie charts before analysing their data.

Primary 5 have been learning about the benefits of plants. They have investigated a variety of plants this term and grew their own cress.
