Primary 4 had a great time at The Foundry. We had the opportunity to take part in some fab games and activities based around the game of Tennis. Barrhead High School pupild helped us to do all of the activities!

The class loved having adults in to help at Open Afternoon. We created great skeleton pictures using cotton buds an created a working model of the lungs. This was related to our IDL based on the Human Body!

We have settled into our new class in Primary 4. We have been working hard on lots of new things. We are not allowed to show our face yet on the blog so here are the start of our walls. We hope we will fill them soon.

Look everyone … Keeva did fantastically well when she competed in Bournemouth and won first place!  She is now a national champion!!

What an amazing achievement, Keeva.  We thought you would be brilliant but this is amazing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a fun last week!

We had lots of fun on National Numeracy Day!

We started off watching a live feed with Bobby Seagull and took part in his Big Number Quiz.  Then we danced with Katja from Strictly Come Dancing.  We found out that music and dancing involves a lot of maths! After that, we thought about the jobs we would like when we are older and the maths involved in each one.  We entered a competition about this and hope we win the £1000 prize for our school!  Finally, we estimated how many things we could do in a given time and went outside to see if our estimates were accurate.  We were exhausted after the star jumps and squats!

We had a brilliant time!  Lots of smiles and cheers for the 4 house groups.  Well done!

We have been learning new skills in PE – Badminton, Hockey, Volleyball and skipping! We have all worked so hard.  Well done P3/2!

MYTHICAL CREATURES TOPIC

We have been having so much fun learning about mythical creatures.  Learning about dragons has been the best!

We loved creating our own dragons and designing magical lands for them to live in.  We have all been very artistic and imaginative!
