We’re looking for 18 + people who are looking to understand what really goes behind the scenes of Channel 4’s award winning, diverse programming at Channel 4. You don’t need any experience to apply and attend, just need a passion for TV and interested in an apprenticeship. Main duties/responsibilities:  
 

Pioneer Mutual Credit Union based in Main Street, Barrhead are looking to recruit a Business Admin Modern Apprentice. Due to the nature of the business all applicants must be aged 18.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Perform transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy.

 

  • Maintain accurate transactional records.

 

  • Provide cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.

 

  • Opening and processing new accounts.

 

  • Process loans

 

  • Social media analytics

 

  • Assisting in marketing and promotions

 

  • Provide members with excellent customer service

 

  • Membership surveys

 

  • Answering telephone

 

  • General admin duties

 

Training

 

  • You will work towards a Level 2 SVQ in either Business and Administration or Customer Service. Once a week, you will attend a training day to work on your qualification and speak to your Assessor about how you are getting on. It’s also a good opportunity to meet up with other Apprentices to hear how they’re getting on in their work placements.

 

  • You will also receive training on the in-house computer system and ABCUL training which covers Data Protection, Money Laundering, Complaints Procedures and Customer Services, Security and Health and Safety at Work.

 

 

 

 

Experience required:
 

No previous experience necessary but must have an interest in working in Admin, Customer Service and Finance.

 

Basic IT skills are essential

Educated in English and Maths to National 5 level

Louise Allan Hair Design is looking to recruit an MA Trainee Hairdresser. The successful applicant will be in the Salon 4 days per week and attend Hairdressing College 1 day per week, where you will learn traditional skills to cut, colour and style hair, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn.

 

You will also receive additional in-house salon training, and you will be required to bring in a Model once a month where you will: shampoo, blowdry, colour on, cutting, perming, hair up, bridal hair and party hair.

 

Duties will include:

  • Preparing hospitality for clients, tea, coffee etc
  • Making sure Salon area is kept clean and tidy
