We have been working on the Young Scottish Engineers ‘TWEETY PI’ project since January. We designed our own high-tech birdhouse – complete with motion-detecting sensors and Wifi communications.
Our STEM club have used the Tweety Pi kit to build and code this project into life. Pupils had to wire the electrical components to a RASPBERRY PI computer unit and then write the necessary code to operate the camera and sensor using PYTHON code.
We will be updating this post with our thoughts and comments on the project so far as it nears completion. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
STEM week was the best!
Really glad you enjoyed it Ben.
