Primary 3 B Mrs Phee August 2019

Welcome back to all and hoping you had a lovely summer break.  The children are super excited to be back and raring to go in class and outdoor!

This week, there will be no formal homework, but you will find that your  child has brought home their individual profile for you to work on at home. This will be this weeks homework.

Please see attached sheet for further information about this years class.

I would like to thank you all for the lovely cards and gifts you gave me at the end of term; they were very much appreciated!

End of term show information

Dear Parent/Carer,

The pupils in P5, 6 and 7 are preparing for the much anticipated end of year school show. This year, we have chosen “High School Musical” and look forward to the singing, dancing and entertainment! The dates are Tuesday 11th (1.45pm) and Wednesday 12th June (7pm).

We are organising a raffle for the two dates and any money raised will benefit your child in the school. Mrs Ali is looking for any donations of vouchers, gifts or services for the raffle. Anything received will be very much appreciated. If you would like to participate in this, please contact the office or send your donation into school. We appreciate your support in this venture. Thank you!

No homework this week

No homework this week due to the three day week. School will be closed onThursday for Elections and Friday/ Monday for holiday weekend.

This is walk to school week so please try and encourage your child to walk a little further than usual for the next three days- thank you for your co- operation.

Outdoor learning will continue on Monday pm sessions. We will be making use of the garden which is muddy so please ensure your child has clothing/ suitable  for this; school uniform will not be suitable for muddy work and unfortunately the children will need to sit out if they choose to wear this.

Please apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school on warm days; we cannot apply the sunscreen due to health and safety reasons.

Homework apologies

Apologies for the lack of homework this week! I have forgotten to upload it  to the blog and unusually none of the children reminded me! The homework was on the class window so thanks to those of you who took it from there. If you did not have access to the homework please do not feel you have to do all of it – wed and thurs will be fine thanks again S Phee

PS please apply sunscreen to your children before school as we intend to spend more time outdoors to take advantage of this lovely weather. Unfortunately due to health and safety reg I would not be able to apply this to your childrne thanks
