Maths

Your child will have either 2 or 3 activities on Education City this week. Please complete the suggested tasks by Friday. If your child has forgotten their login details, they have a note of it inside their diary.

IDL

As part of our IDL toys topic, we are planning to organise an afternoon of playground/outdoor games from the past.

We will be writing to invite volunteers to come in to teach us any brilliant games that you used to play when you were young. Think classics like kerbie, wallie, elastics, kho kho, etc.

If you would be willing to join us for an afternoon we would love to learn about a game you used to play. Wednesday 27th has been pencilled in. We will be bringing home invitations this Wednesday. RSVP!

LEGO

Do you have blocks like these?

Could we have them forever if you do?

We are planning to use them to make something. We will be using glue to keep them together, so we cannot give them back to play with again. We will take them in asap.

Thanks for your continued support.

Assembly

Our Learning Assembly is taking place on Wednesday the 13th of March at 9:15am. Please be there 10 minutes in advance! Children can wear their own clothes for the assembly so they can come to school wearing their clothes/costumes and bring their uniform with them to change into afterwards.

Red Nose Day is on Friday 15th March!

The Braidbar Pupil Council members have organised some fundraising activities on this day. We would encourage children to come to school on Friday 15th March wearing an item of red, and/or a Red Nose Day accessory and to bring a chocolate donation. In the afternoon a chocolate tombola will take place and each class will be invited along for their chance to win! Tickets are priced at 20p each.

As well as this, the lovely dinner ladies are making some Red Nose Day jammy biscuits! These will be 40p (cash) and can be pre-ordered from Monday 11th March.

We can’t wait to raise some money for this worthwhile charity who help vulnerable people in the UK and internationally!
