Pupil Achievement
Congratulations to Heather (S2) who is now the ‘Judo Scotland Grand Prix Champion’ for her age band having successfully won the most points from a range of competitions within the last year. She was awarded her trophy on Saturday by the National Perfomace Coach. An amazing achievement Heather. Well done!
Remembrance Service
On Sunday, our Head Girl and Head Boy, Grace and Jack, attended the memorial service for Remembrance Day at the Newton Mearns War Memorial to pay their respects and represent the school alongside Mrs Gibson, DHT.
Today, at 11am, pupils and staff observed a minutes silence before Grace and Jack places a wreath within the school.

Williamwood Music Festival
Congratulations to all contestants who took part in the Williamwood Music Festival. The adjudicators were very complimentary over the standard of musicianship and creativity that was demonstrated in all performances. Congratulations to Mila McManus (S3) and Frea Tennant (S5) who were awarded first positions in the junior and senior sections respectively, while the three S3 girls; Rebecca Paton, Katie Rafferty and Imogen Robinson were runners up in the junior section. Luka McCall’s (S5)guitar performances earned him second position in the senior section, while the Rising Star award was given to Leo Reston (S3). Thanks to everyone who assisted in the running of the evening, including the sounds/technology team, higher photography group and the S6 deputies.
Campbell Dallas School Leaver Intake
The Campbell Dallas School Leaver intake is now open for applications until 31/1/20. This is an alterbative to the university route into the industry.

Junior Masterchef
The Food and Textile Technology Department held their annual Junior Masterchef completion, the standard was exceptional and after much deliberation the judges awarded:
1st prize to S2 Grace Burns
2nd prize to S1 Ruby Burns
3rd prize to S1 Katy Watson

Congratulations to Alice Marques (S1) qualified for the world Irish dancing championships 2020. She will represent Scotland and the Osborne Academy.
S4 Parents’ Evening – Thursday 12th December
S4 Parents’ Evening will go ahead as planned on Thursday 12th December 4pm – 6.30pm.
