Gymnasts Leap into Success
On Sunday 18th of March our Level 3 Gymnastics Team won Gold in the Scottish Schools Floor and Vault Championships in Bells Sports Centre, Perth. The team was made up of Ella Loffler, Eve McFarlane and Millie McGeehan. Eve McFarlane won Silver and Ella Loffler Bronze in the overall individual competition.
The gymnasts also won the East Renfrewshire Floor and Vault Championships that were held in November and have attended additional weekly training sessions on a Tuesday after school to prepare for the Finals. All their hard work has paid off and they fully deserved to win this extremely competitive accolade.
The team were presented with a silver Quaich today by Mr Docherty for their outstanding achievements.
