Archbishop Tartaglia
Mr Docherty presented Archbishop Tartaglia with a medal during his recent visit to the school where he celebrated Mass and met with some of our pupils and staff.
The Centenary Medal was struck to commemorate the Centenary of the 1918 Education Act is presented to pupils, staff, parents, families and others who with merit promote our Catholic Ethos.
Archbishop Tartaglia -‘Christianity is not a vague philanthropy but is love based on a real faith in Jesus. Such a love will never fade.’
Archbishop Tartaglia- ‘Sometimes I worry about young people growing up in a World which is not open to faith but if they are faithful to God, keep coming to Mass and are prayerful, I won’t worry about them.’
Archbishop Tartaglia presented Mr Cumming with our Centenary Medal to mark his sterling work for the faith life of the School.
