YPI FINAL
Congratulations to the S2 pupils who took part in the YPI Final on Thursday evening.
All S2 pupils worked on the project through RE and PSHE where they worked as part of a team to choose a social issue which they were all passionate about. They then chose a local charity who work to tackle their social issue. 10 teams were selected to compete in the final event.
All teams performed excellently, delivering informative and emotive presentations aiming to win £3000 to donate to their chosen charity.
The winning team are from 2a8 Sofia Bowman, Louisa Ward, Danyaal Ahmed, Louis Plunkettand were supporting Time Out Scotland. Time out is a self-help support group which meets every week. They are run by people who are past and present sufferers of depression and anxiety.
