Pray for forgiveness

Ephesians 4:31-32

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. In the Our Father we asks for God’s forgiveness and the grace to forgive others.

Our Father…..

Thursday 30 November 2017.

Feast of St. Andrew Patron Saint of Scotland.

St. Andrew is the patron saint of fishermen and singers. He is also the patron saint to several countries and cities including: Scotland, Romania and Russia.

O Glorious Saint Andrew,

you were the first

to recognise and follow

the Lamb of God.

With your friend Saint John

you remained with Jesus

for that first day,

for your entire life,

and now throughout eternity.

As you led your brother

Saint Peter to Christ

and many others after him,

draw us also to Him.

Teach us to lead others

to Christ solely out of love

for Him and dedication

in His service.

Help us to learn

the lesson of the Cross

and to carry our daily crosses

without complaint

so that they may

carry us to Jesus.

Beginning of Advent this Sunday

Prayer for beginning of Advent

Almighty God, as we begin this season of Advent remind us again that in the midst of our darkness you are bringing us peace, to calm our anxious spirits and hectic lives. Turn our hearts again toward you. Make us ready to receive your Son our Saviour. Slow our pace, and give us the blessing of feeling your peace in our spirits. For we ask this in Jesus’ precious Name. Amen

Hail Mary……
