A reminder that Bishop John will be coming to our parish to celebrate a Lenten Station Mass on Thursday.

Mass will be at 7.00pm.

This mass is for everyone in our cluster and our parish; we would like to see as many of you there as possible!

Full school uniform should be worn.

Our church display has been updated with Primary 3’s Lenten Promises.

We are supporting SCIAF’s Wee Box appeal.   Each class will have their own wee box.  Donations are welcome.

This week NDT Cycling became a Cycling Scotland Bikeability approved retailer, for more information about the BSAR scheme visit the Cycling Scotland webpage here. Good timing considering we have our next Big Bike Sale happening in Rouken Glen Park this weekend on Saturday the 9^th of March from 12-3pm.  All bikes on sale are fully refurbished under Revolve Standards and sold at bargain prices (typically £40- £80).

Come to our EAL homework club with Mrs Dzióbek.  She’ll be on hand to assist and Chromebooks will be available to complete homework tasks.

Just a reminder for any parents/carers who would like to help us close our Read Aloud Week, 2.45pm tomorrow in the family room. Tea/Coffee and sharing some reading!

Today our pupils enjoyed visiting Athurlie Family Centre and sharing their reading skills with the nursery children!

Neilston Primary had a very special guest during their Read Aloud week and it even made it to the Barrhead News!

It is so amazing to see everything that has been going on in libraries and schools to celebrate Read Aloud and the fantastic achievements of our children and teachers in Reading Recovery.

As part of our special read aloud week, pupils attended the Foundry today to meet David Currie from the BBC.

He was delighted to celebrate in our pupils achievements in reading and invited them to come up and read aloud a page from their favourite books!

Well done for sharing your success!
