Severe Weather Contingency

In the event of a school closure Drama pupils should continue studying at home using the following information:

S2, S3 and S4 pupils can access The National Learning Network at www.nln.ac.uk for an excellent interactive experience in all elements of drama and theatre. Performing Arts can be found under Vocational subjects.  Also there are excellent resources on set design under Art. S3 and S4 pupils can also search “National Theatre” and  “NTS online”  in youtube for behind the scenes documentaries and production trailers. Of course, if pupils have their course textbook at home with them then this can be read through at home.

Higher pupils can re-read The Crucible as well as CST plays and course textbooks as well as consolodation and revision of course notes. In addition, pupils can attempt plans and/or full essays from past papers or questions which are in the textbook.

Advanced Higher pupils should continue their reading of their 20th Century Theatre practitioner  texts as well as their Special Study texts. Pupils can also search “National Theatre” and  “NTS online”  in youtube for behind the scenes documentaries and production trailers to widen their knowledge of theatre and performance.

S4 – S6 pupils can also access the SQA past paper service and attempt any questions that they feel prepared to answer at this point in the course.
