Out travelling went very smoothly, we arrived at our hostel just before 5pm which gave us sometime to explore the area of Kreuzberg before dinner. Mr O’Hagan has been reading up on his German knowledge and impressed pupils and staff with his city facts! Dinner was pizza or pasta at the Primavera and then onto a quick stop at the supermarket and the ice cream parlour before we headed back to the hostel. Check out our photos

Berlin 2014
Only 12 sleeps until we leave! All medicines are to be handed in to Mr O’Hagan in the Design and Technology department and spending money to Miss McCarley in the Art & Design department on or before this Friday. Any problems please see Miss McCarley as soon as possible.
Rapid Response
S1 pupils have been enjoying the challenge of creating Rapid Response Shelters. Shelter designs had to demonstrate an ability to cope with the elements. Pupils had to work in teams to problem solve and create a successful solution to the design brief, great work S1!

SPT Competition Winner
Congratulations to Emily de Lombarde (1a8) who has won the SPT Subway Smart Card Competition. Emily designed a wallet holder for the new smart cards. Her design will not only be seen on the wallet holders but will also be displayed as posters throughout the underground. Fantastic achievement! Well done Emily!
