Pupils cover two units of work.

Expressive: Pupils are introduced to Portraiture and Still Life exploring a wide range of media and techniques to develop their expressive skillset.

Design: Pupils explore and investigate design solutions in response to a design brief.

Critical: For both units pupils are introduced to the work of relevant artists and designers, influencing their practice and developing their ability to respond to a range of work.

Workshop – Pupils are encouraged to take part in a one day workshop at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum exploring still life and approaches that artists might have taken when working in this genre.
