Miss Howard has posted a few images of her S3 pupils getting to grips with new media and drawing approaches as part of their expressive unit, we love the results!

We have posted a few photographs of events and work that S1 pupils have been involved in since starting the 3D Design course in January.  We are loving the work, a great start S1!

A selection of work by Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Higher and Higher Photography pupils will be on public display in Eastwood Theatre for three weeks.  The exhibition starts on Thursday the 6th of February.

The open evening will be held on Tuesday the 18th of February from 4pm – 6pm.  Pupils, family and friends are all welcome, we look forward to seeing you on the 18th!

Many thanks to those of you who were able to come along to support S1 pupils who had work on display last week at the 3D Design Exhibition.  The lead up work and finished pieces were outstanding, a few pictures of the work have been posted on our flickr site.  Congratulations to all classes involved.

Congratulations to Fiona Graham whose work was was chosen as one of the secondary school winners from the print workshop that pupils attended with Janet Forry in December.  Fiona’s work will be on display as part of this year’s Electric Glen Light Festival on in Rouken Glen Park from the 6th of February.

All pupils involved will be issued with tickets allowing free entry to the festival, well done to all who took part.

There will be an exhibition of 3D Design work from  the following classes 1B,  1D,  1F, 1H,  1K,  1M  and 1P  who recently completed the course.  Work will be displayed in the school forum on Thursday 30th January from 4.30pm – 7.30pm.

Pupils, family and friends are all welcome, we hope to see you there.

Final payment of £110 is due this Friday the 31st of January.  Where possible payments should be made online.  Cheques or cash can be handed in to Miss McCarley in the art department.

S3 started their expressive units today with a few warm up drawing exercises.  Great work S3, keep it up!
