Pakora & Chapati
This month, Mrs Abbas has thrown down the gauntlet with a delicious recipe for cooking Pakora & Chapatis. To see the recipe and how to make it – please click on the links below. Mrs Abbas has been making this recipe for years and has now created the Perfect Pakora! Her family is from Pakistan and this is one of their favourite dishes. The great thing about this recipe is that you can include any vegetables you like. Pakora can also be considered an Indian dish, originating from countries across South Asia – it’s enjoyed by many countries! She has also shown us how to make Chapati, a type of flatbread that originates from a similar part of the world. Primary 5 were able to give this recipe a go with fantastic results! Thank you, Mrs Abbas!
If you do manage to give this challenge a go – please let us know! We would love to share your pictures and efforts with the rest of the school through our website & twitter!
If you require any of the ingredients mentioned in this month’s cooking challenge, please contact the school. We would be happy to put together a ‘Ready Steady Cook’ bag for your child to allow them to join in!
