Our bright new S1 French pupils were delighted to receive a French dictionary each this week, courtesy of our hard-working PTA.
S1 please note: these dictionaries should be used throughout your French studies, especially for reading work.

All National 5 Languages pupils in S4 will soon be involved in final N5 talking exams. Please read the attached letter to find out how best to support a candidate at this level.
The dates for the exams are as follows –
Monday 25th Feb – Wednesday 27th Feb – N5 French
Monday 4th March – N5 Spanish
Monday 11th March – N5 Mandarin

To all students preparing for the final National 5 French exam in May,
Please ensure that you know the vocabulary contained within the attached booklets. Knowing this vocabulary, especially the verbs, will ensure that you optimise your performance, particularly in the listening exam.
Revising vocabulary for approximately 20 minutes per day will make a huge difference, if you undertake this between now and the final exam!
