For those pupils moving to Higher and Advanced Higher in a Modern Language next year, this is great news.
As of today, you can access all of the Scholar online courses for any of the subjects on offer there.
You should be able to access Scholar through the tile on mchs Glow homepage, without needing a separate username or password, but let me know(WrightA2@mearnscastle.e-renfrew.sch.uk) if you have issues and I can help you out.
The new “Display other courses” toggle at the bottom of the welcome screen of Scholar provides guest access to all of our courses..
Obviously, if you are doing Higher French next year, and are keen to get your teeth into the course, then Scholar is the place to start.
Pupils of Spanish at all levels should regularly check their class’s google classroom for instructions, information about their learning and materials to work with.
You have already used this Classroom through the course of the year, so just keep checking as you have been doing.
Wishing all Higher French students the best of luck in tomorrow’s prelim. Remember your own dictionary, and look after yourselves physically and mentally today and tomorrow. Eat well, drink water and get plenty of sleep tonight. Do your best and remember to check your answers in reading and listening!

This email must be prepared in advance for the National 5 French prelim on December 10th 2019 and also again in the same way for the final exam in May.
Our intrepid senior students of Mandarin set off yesterday for the trip of a lifetime to China, along with students from other schools in East Renfrewshire.
