Give Me BSL Signing Day – Family Celebration Day
Diane Morton, works for Glasgow BDA and runs “Give Me BSL”. They have a family event coming up on the 2nd March in Motherwell. This will be held in Amazonia, at M&D’s theme park.
There will be lots of little animals to see like monkeys, birds, snakes, creepy crawlies and tarantulas.
There will be a BSL tour for parents and children, and also a visit to the handling room where you’ll be able to meet and touch the some of the animals. When the event is finished, lunch which will be provided.
In the afternoon, parents will stay for a discussion on education, and children will head off for some fun at ten pin bowling. Parents and children will meet up again at the end of the day.

There’s something spooky going on in our school…………. The Leavers’ mums decided to make a fun film as a farewell and memory to Isobel Mair School.
We also had a guest appearance from the chairman of the parent council, who didn’t want to be left out!
Down’s Syndrome Scotland will host the 13th World Down Syndrome Congress on 25th -27th July.
