Does your child require glasses and struggle to find suitable frames?
There is a Dispensing clinic at Caledonian University for children who have complex needs and Visual Impairment.
They have a very good range of frames including some which are specifically designed for children with Downs Syndrome.
It is non-profit making service so much cheaper than a lot of the stores.
Appointments can be arranged by calling 0141 331 3377 or you can use the drop in service.
Students are always on site but everything is supervised and checked by a qualified optician.
Lots of strategies and resources being shared with parents at the relationships & sexual health drop in session this afternoon with Mrs Goodlad and Miss McMillan.

Parents interested in how IMS supports teaching and learning about relationships and sexual health are invited to attend a drop in session at the school.
You will be able to view resources and chat about strategies that are used.
This will take place on Wednesday 28th September at 1:30pm.

All Engaged, All Communicate, All Learn is a one or two day practical, in depth and hands on session with Tobii Dynavox & RETT University.
This session is customised for anyone working with individuals with complex needs to learn effective communication and literacy strategies.
