Good Luck

Good luck to our former pupil and sports champion, Amy who is a member of the rhythmic gymnastics team competing at the Special Olympics. Good luck from everyone at IMS.

 

Volunteers required

Knitting project

Senior pupils are looking for any volunteers to knit chicks for their senior enterprise college course. Completed chicks can  be sent into school by Wednesday the 20th of March. Any help would be much appreciated. #enterprise 

Give Me BSL Signing Day

Give Me BSL Signing Day – Family Celebration Day

Diane Morton, works  for Glasgow BDA and runs “Give Me BSL”.  They have a family event coming up on the 2nd March in Motherwell. This will be held in Amazonia, at M&D’s theme park.

There will be lots of little animals to see like monkeys, birds, snakes, creepy crawlies and tarantulas.

There will be a BSL tour for parents and children, and also a visit to the handling room where you’ll be able to meet and touch the some of the animals. When the event is  finished, lunch which will be provided.

In the afternoon, parents will stay for a discussion on education, and children will head off for some fun at ten pin bowling. Parents and children will meet up again at the end of the day.

Makaton Workshops

Join us for Makaton Workshops at Isobel Mair School.
Parents, carers, families and friends of Isobel Mair School and IsobelMairFC are invited to attend Makaton Support Workshops.

Sessions will involve looking at everyday signs that may be relevant to you and your family.
