Saturday Music Centre -Authority Orchestras, Bands & Ensembles
Instrumental Staff will give pupils details in August of when all authority orchestras, bands and ensembles will start again in the new session and how to access the registration e-form.
Attendance Monitoring Arrangements.
Large numbers of pupils attend the Saturday Music Centre for lessons, choirs, bands and orchestral rehearsals. If for any reason throughout the session your child is unable to attend their instrumental lesson, it is important that you contact Linda Fenn as soon as possible, either by email FennL@ea.e-renfrew.sch.uk or tel. 07800 629 711 and prior to the day of absence, if at all possible, to enable a note to be made in the register and the teacher informed. Parents/carers are also requested to keep the music service up to date with any changes to emergency contact details.
Should your child need to remain in the school building outwith their lesson time, I would ask that, for Health and Safety reasons, you ensure they remain in the ‘Street Area’ of the school, at the main entrance, until they are collected or their next activity begins.
