The Instrumental Music Service underwent a Standards and Quality Review in May/June 2007. This pilot review was undertaken by Havilland Wiltshire and Stephen Broad from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, in conjunction with Wilma Bain and Marjorie Burns from the East Renfrewshire Education Department.

The idea of this review was to point to the strengths of the service as well as any areas of perceived improvement.  At present the recommendations of the report are being collated and studied with a view to implementation in the near future. details of any recommendations will be posted in the near future.

In conjunction with the S & Q Review, the Instrumental Music Service has put forward a new development plan, highlighting present day outcomes and plans for the future.
