P5a Class Blog 06.03.20

This week, we asked primary 5 what they enjoyed learning about.  Here is what they said:

(Ruby) In maths, we did a World Book Day Quiz where we got some questions and we had to decide who won the costume competition using our maths skills.

(Aaron) In ICT, some people were filling out their applications to be a Digital Leader.

(Elise) In assembly, we had a book disco- it was so much fun! J

(Muhammad) In P.E. we have been doing football.

(Eilidh P) The P7’s arranged a Book Day scavenger hunt.  They hid books around the playground and we had to find out information about each one.

(Hirah) In literacy, we were talking about Malala Yousafzai.  We were talking about her children’s book ‘Malala’s Magic Pencil’ and we wrote a story about what we would do with a magic pencil.

(Adam H) On Wednesday and Thursday we had parents’ evening.

(Harry) In maths, the Cubes were doing Data Handling and we started doing a survey in partners.

(Ailsa) In writing, we were writing a persuasive letter to persuade the engineers to build our invention.

(Noor) During parents’ evening some people went to the gym hall to help at the Fair Trade stall and to buy some books at the book fair.

(Julia) For World Book Day, five people from our class went to the nursery to read to the children there.

(Nicolas) In assembly, some children from the nursery came to see us to teach us a song.
