Having learned about Rio Harbour as part of their Seven Natural Wonders of the World topic, the class decided they wanted to learn more about Brazil and the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
In class, we watched a video of the statue being repaired and listened to some examples of famous Brazillian music.
The children created posters in their jotters encouraging visitors to come and see Cristo Redentor. They included lots of interesting facts, persuasive language, and even some Brazillian Portuguese- ótimo!
