Alexander told us all about when his Mum was resilient when she was badly injured. Alexander and his brother Marcus were also resilient when times were challenging and their Mum fainted.

Seff shared about the business man Bill Gates who showed resilience throughout his career.

Naomi B shared the story of her Granma who was resilient when she faced ill health. She made some great nutritional choices to battle her illness and is now in good health.

Corinne spoke about thee amazing Nelson Mandela. He was such a resilient man.has

Azaan shared his own story of resilience. He is a resilient boy who moved schools and broken bones.

Hugo Hugo shared about he was r4esilient when moving school from St Alberts 🙂

Thomas Thomas told us all about Bambi who was resilient when he lost his Mum.

 

Holly spoke about Malala who has been incredibly brave and resilient. She is so inspiring.

Alex spoke about the football player Fernando Ricksen and his health battle. He is so resilient.

Cameron shared his Grandpas story. He has been resilient throughout his life, battling health problems for a long time whilst still achieving and enjoying what he could.

Ava shared her Papas story. He is a resilient man and has bounced back many times, even when it seemed impossible.

The story of little Daniel touched all our hearts. He is a little fighter and has been so resilient.

Naomi told us all about the character Laura Innglis from Little House on the Prairie. She was a very resilient girl. Naomi brought some great props for her talk.

Lily shared the story of her brothers pet ‘Jimmy’. She was resilient even when she missed him a lot.

Emilia was very brave and spoke about her fear of Halloween and how she needed to be resilient. We could really relate to this talk and it taught us a lot about being kind, considerate and caring towards one another.

What an inspiring talk about Nelson Mandela by Farhan. We were reminded about how resilient he had to be. He was a great role model.

Hashim spoke about Mohammad Ali. About how resilient he was in his training and how he became a great boxer.

Jenna spoke about the very long period of time her sister spent in hospital. She spoke about the resilience she, and her family, had to demonstrate.

Riley spoke about his brother Clayton and how Clayton is strong and resilient every day.

Calum told us all about his Aunt who has had to be resilient throughout her life. Calum has also been really resilient, being strong when Timothee left to go back to France.

Lucas told us all about the life of Colonel Sanders who funded KFC. He persevered and always tried his best.

Freya shared the story of a little girl called Ailsa. Little Ailsa has been so resilient through many health battles. What an inspiring little girl.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rebecca gave a brilliant talk about Luke Skywalker and how he needed to be resilient during his Star Wars adventures.

Aiden spoke passionately about Walt Disney. He was very resilient and persevered when times were challenging.

Bethany told us the amazing story of her Grampa who battled ill health and was resilient and strong through it all.
