We had an exciting Assembly today because this is Miss Graham’s last assembly in our school. She is leaving to go to be a Head Teacher in another school.
Some children made a big chair for her to sit on and the primary 6’s and primary 7’s sang her a song.
We have a new group in language called the Dolphins and they were learning today about taking notes by making bullet points. Each bullet point had to make sense. Harry, Olivia and Aila.
In problem solving today in maths we had to work out how to solve the problem by showing our working. Phoebe, Holly, Max F and Antony.
Sophia had new problem solving today with Mrs Grubb. She had to read the question and solve it using counters and cubes. She worked in small groups of four.
In language today Christopher was reading about a magic coat. The coat made Ivan fly to the dragon’s cave. This story helped him to answer questions.
In Maths, Erin had to make large numbers like 101 and she had to add on 105! Playing games helped her to learn how to add these numbers.
Our class brought in £1 – and so did many other classes – to raise money for the people in Nepal who were involved in the earthquake.
