In Art we have been learning how to create optical illusions. It’s really fun but some of it is tricky!

We have been making our class charter this week. We have signed the balloons, put up the clouds and we have almost finished making the house from Up.

In maths Pythagoras have been revising compound area and perimeter. It was a bit tricky at the beginning but we have got the hang of it!

Euler have been looking at different types of triangles. Isosceles, scalene, equilateral and right angled triangles!

The Comics have started to read Holes. It is an interesting book so far and we are looking forward to reading more.

The Magazines started to read a new book called The War in Jenkins’ Ear. We are looking forward to reading more of our book next week.

We had a spelling test this week which was quite tricky.

In PE, with Mrs MacGregor, we were running and playing different ball games.

We started our new topic about the Victorians. We learned that Queen Victoria became the Empress of India and she became the Queen when she was only 18 years old.

We have also fill out our action plan to try and achieve our John Muir Awards.

We have a class pet called Barry! (The spider in the corner of our classroom!)
