Crookfur Primary Blog 07/10/16

This week at Crookfur, Primary 5 were excited to be taking part in another road safety competition. In maths the Excellent Equations have completed their work on length and are looking forward to learning about weight. The Super Subtractions are looking at 2D and 3D shapes and are enjoying it very much. The Fantastic Fractions have completed their work on volume and are now exploring graphs and data handling. We have been doing more work on our Titanic cabins and we are excited to report that they are nearly finished! We have been having a debate in class regarding who is to blame for the sinking of the Titanic. This has been an excellent opportunity to explore different views and express our opinions. For Global Goals, we learned about climate change and found out that polar bears are in danger of becoming extinct! We learned that global warming and the many consequences of climate change.

It’s been a great week! 🙂
