Get Office 365 Free!

Glow Users can now download for free the Microsoft Office 2016 apps on up to 15 personal devices; up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets (Windows, iPad and Android) and 5 phones. This includes all staff and pupils.

‎Making the these apps available helps Glow users take full advantage of the opportunities these tools offer. The Office apps which include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote provide a learning platform that translates beyond school and into the world of work. 

To download the Office 2016 apps, log in to your child’s Glow account and either click on the Download Office Now tile or go to the Office 365 Home tile and once in O365, click on “Install Office 2016” at the top right of the page.

CLIC Sargent Carol Concert

A massive congratulations to our Choir who performed magnificently on the stage at the Royal Concert Hall on Friday.  They were a credit to the school and the number of postive comments and complementary feedback was overwhelming.

A magnificent start to the festive season, that also helped raise a massive £35,000 for a worthwhile cause!

Awful Auntie

Today Primaries 5, 6 and 7 visited the Theater Royal in Glasgow to see a performance of David Walliam’s Awful Auntie.  A grea ttime was had by all, and the performance really helped to bring literacy to life.

Digital Schools Award

 

At today’s ceremony at Goldenhill Primary in  Clydebank, we were presented with our Digital Schools Award in recognition of the fantastic learnign experiences the pupils receive.

Our Head Boy and Head Girl made a fantastic presentation about Digital Life at Busby, before receiving a plaque to dispaly in school.

Wheelbarrow Competition

Last weekend saw Busby’s entry compete in the annual Greenbank Garden Wheelbarrow Competition.  Miss Lawson’s Skills academy group put the wheelbarrow together, and although we didn’t finish amongst the prizes, the children should be very proud of their efforts!
