A sad farewell

Busby Primary said a sad farewell to our outgoing P7 year group on Friday 24th June.  The P7s led a wonderful and emotional service at Busby Parish Church before coming back to the school to get their shirts and yearbooks signed.

P7 Leavers

All pupils and staff lined up to cheer them out of the school when the bell rang at 1pm.  Class of 2015/16 – we will miss you!

P7 Residential Trip session 16/17

We would like to invite all puipls & parents/carers of children who will be travelling to Lochgoilhead in September to attend an Information Evening arranged for Thursday 19th May at 6.00pm.  This will be presented by a representative from Lochgoilhead Outdoor Centre and Miss Taylor.

There will be a short presentation followed by the opportunity to ask questions.

Meet the Staff Evening

We hope you enjoyed the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher at last night’s meeting. Thank you to all the parents that could make it along. We truly appreciate the offers of support that were given last night and if you feel you could help in supporting the curricular, ECO, STEM or Finance developments, please contact the school. Also, if you are able to support with clubs or can volunteer a few hours to help in classes, let us know.

Please click here to see the presentation on the School Improvement Plan given at the start of the evening.

P1 Induction Events

There are two induction events for the new P1 parents and children.  These are on Thursday the 7th June at 1.30pm and Tuesday 12th June at 1.30pm.  There will be general information about the school; information on Literacy and Numeracy; as well as information about some of the partners who support and work with us.  There will be opportunities for the new P1 children to visit their new classroom.
