VOLUNTEERS – can you spare an hour a week to help sustain and develop physical activity at school? If you have a passion for sport and can lend a hand, get involved and support the school’s extra-curricular programme. If you’re interested please email Chris Cox (Active Schools Co-ordinator) on email@example.com.

Please follow us and keep up to date with what is happening during the school day.
All parents are invited to our “Meet the Staff” evening on Wednesday 6th August, at 6.30pm when Mr Weir will give a short presentation on our school targets for this year. Following this there will be a choice of two sessions, 7.00-7.30pm and 7.30-8.00pm in your child’s classroom.
This will be an opportunity to informally meet with your child’s class teacher to find out about class routines and the exciting learning experiences that are planned. This event is aimed at parents only so we would ask that children remain at home on this occasion.
There will be a Leadership Assembly on Friday 1st September at 1.45pm at Busby Parish Church. Parents of pupils receiving Leadership awards will be invited in due course.
At Busby, we are hoping to install a vertical garden at the rear of the school. We have been in discussions with international environmental artist, Marc Granen and a consultancy called Nature Harmonics to try and bring this exciting project to life. In order to raise the necessary funds, we have managed to secure a place in the latest Tesco Bags of Help vote.
If you are shopping in one of these stores, please cast your vote for Busby!
