On Thursday 17th March we are going to be presented with our GOLD award from Sports Scotland. This award is recognition of our schools achievements in putting quality physical education and school sport at the heart of a school’s planning, practice and ethos.
On the day you need to come dressed as your favourite Sporting Hero or dressed to participate in your favourite sport. Will you come dressed as Andy Murray? Jessica Ennis-Hill? Usain Bolt? Sir Chris Hoy? Serena Williams?
The only request is no specific football team strips but national teams are acceptable.
On this day we will also be revealing the winners from our Super Hero Mascot homework. The children have been voting for the best from each category from Fairness, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Courage. The winning entries are going to be made into large figures and displayed in the gym hall.
