Barrhead High School and St Luke’s High School jointly hold a Careers Evening every year. This year the Career Evening is being held in St Luke’s High School starting at 7pm until 9pm. Universities, colleges and a variety of careers from other professions will be on hand, along with Careers Scotland, to give out prospectuses and information. We would encourage parents/carers and young people to go along and find out information regarding future careers.
All pupils studying SQA Highers will have the opportunity to attend 2 timetabled Sessions, per subject, of Supported Study for 1 hour between now and Xmas holidays. Pupils have been given a copy of the timetable and this link will also allow you to see the allocated Sessions. sstudy
Cheyenne Hodgson in S5 is raising funds for her trip to Botswana in the summer of 2012 by selling wonderful cup cakes to staff and pupils at Barrhead High School. This trip is being organised by the Scout Association of which Cheyenne belongs to 3rd Barrhead Scout Group. So far Cheyenne has raised £1,600 mainly from the sale of cupcakes – we wish her well. If any organisation wishes to support Cheyenne and purchase these cupcakes please contact Mrs Crawford (Depute Head) at Barrhead High School.
