S4 pupils are all experiencing a week in a work placement this week. Examples of these work placements are
Veterinary Assistant, Trainee Mechanic, Football Community Coach, Healthcare , Finance Processing Assistant, Trainee Plasterer, Beauty Therapist, Legal Administrator Assistant, IT Assistant, Dental Assistant, Hospitality Assistant, Nursery Assistant, Chef Assistant, Recording Studio Assistant, Trainee Metal Fabricator, Retail Assistant, Assistant Glazier, Airport Assistant.
We all hope our S4 enjoy this wonderful opportunity and would like to thank all our supporters for giving our pupils the chance to experience a work placement.
Barrhead High School came 3rd in East Renfrewshire’s 
Maths Challenge in which all 7 Secondary Schools took part in. Our Team consisted of (from left to right) Neil MacCuish and Shannon Peacock (S3) Olivia Ross and Jamie Weatherston (S4). Congratulations.
S4 will have spotlight Assessments in all their subject areas during the week 24 October 2011 until 28 October 2011. Parents/Carers will be informed of the resulting marks for these assessments.
All departments will be supporting pupils with Study Techniques relating to their subjects. This will be a focus until the October holiday.
