46 S1 pupils and 5 members of staff are having an ‘adventurous’ time on the Adventure Weekend trip to Kingswood Centre near Hexham. They have been kept busy on a variety of activities and are having a great time. Follow their progress on twitter ‘Barrhead Adv Trip’.
This year’s Ski Trip staff and pupils were highly IT literate. They kept us informed daily via TWITTER of their progress with pictures and tweets.
They also took the school’s new GoPro video camera. This camera is the size of a matchbox and can be fastened to your body on a special harness. It is designed to give action filming while taking part in sporting activities – and skiing was the ideal sport to try it out on.
Pupils and staff took turns at wearing the camera and filmed lots of the action.
On their return, our talented school Media Technician, Matthew Mathieson, downloaded some of the clips and put them together into an action-packed film. Check it out below!
