Pulse FM – Recruiting!

Fed up with hearing the same old stuff on the radio?  How about doing a show of your own? We have a full-time radio station inside the grounds of the school with listeners all over the world and it is currently looking for new presenters.

If you have ever thought about becoming a presenter, why not get involved?  Come along and meet some of the young presenters from Pulse 98.4.  A lunch-time ‘drop-in’ session will be held on Wednesday, 1st May from 12:30 in the theatre.  Come along and find out more about your local station!

The Duke of Edinburgh Award

Well done to seventeen Barrhead High students who completed their Duke of Edinburgh Award – Practice Expedition at Whitelees Windfarm this week.  The weather was abysmal, but the attitude, behaviour and effort of the students was first class!  Well done to all involved and here’s hoping the assessed expedition in June 2013 has more favourable weather!!
