It is that time of year again, when we start to plan for our winter ski trip. This year we are proposing to run a ski trip to Champoluc in the Monterosa Region, Italy on 21st February 2015. This is a new resort, which has been taken on by Interski and there has been some positive feedback. If you would like to attend the ski trip next year, then print the attached form (or collect a form from the school office) and return it to the school office by Wednesday, 16th May 2014.
Please click here to download or simply view the timetable for the upcoming third year exams. The third year exams are spread out over two and a half weeks and are our S3 pupils first real experience of formal examinations: some of the exams will take place in the actual games hall that is hosting the SQA exams which are starting today!
All pupils will be assessed in every subject they have undertaken, either at National 4 or National 5 level. It is our hope that the experience of sitting formal exams will serve the pupils well in the future as they begin their S4 and the run up to the SQA exams in 2015 and beyond.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the school if you want more information or have any questions about the timetable attached.
Thank you for your continued support and good luck to all of the students!
Getting ready for SQA exams – information for parents and carers
The Parentzone website has information that will be helpful for parents and carers who have children sitting exams in the coming weeks. This includes a guide to preparing your child for exams, which has useful links to sample exam papers and revision aids.
