Fri 9th Dec – School Reopens

The latest advice from East Renfrewshire Council on Twitter is “We expect our schools, offices and services to reopen as usual tomorrow, but will tweet if there’s any change”.

We would expect therefore that Barrhead High School will be fully open to pupils and staff tomorrow (Friday).

Keep up to date with the latest information on the ERC Twitter site or check back here for any change.

Recycling – fundraising

Barrhead High School is very grateful to ReUse It on Muriel Street, Barrhead (near the train station) who have allowed us to place a clothes recycle bin on their grounds to help raise cash for our school funds – so far we have raised £110.

If you have any old clothes or brick-a-brack please take it along to the recycle bin or bring it into school and help raise even more money for our school fund.

S5/6 Parents’ Evening

Following on from receiving the Senior School Report Card there is a Parents’ Evening on Monday 5 December from 4pm until 6.30pm.  Pupils have appointment sheets and have been encouraged over the last week to make appointments with as many teachers as possible.  If you are unable to attend please contact Mrs Crawford (Depute Head) who will arrange a suitable time to discuss any concerns that you have.  Mr Sinclair will be available throughout the evening to meet and speak to Parents.

John Muir Award – Parent Feedback

The John Muir Award was introduced as a pilot award this session and we are keen to gather the thoughts of all involved to help us improve the experience for future year groups.
We would be very grateful if you would take a couple of minutes to complete the following survey and tell us what you think.
