In circle time P4 have talked about bullying behaviour and the effect it has on people. They talked about the way different people would feel – the person who displayed the bullying behaviour, the person who was the target of the bullying behaviour, the teachers , other children , the parents etc. They hope to use this information and create some literacy work from it.

School Calendar
The children were given the month of March to create a picture for the school calendar. As March is associated with the wind they made individual kites using the design from their social justice pictures. We thought we would give you a preview and hope that this might encourage you to buy the calendar this year.
Autumn
Primary 4 took advantage of the dry weather to go into the playground to look for signs of Autumn. They were going to create a setting in their writing and needed to use all of their senses to write their plan. While they were there they worked together to gather leaves of different colour, shape, size and texture to use in their art work later on in the day.
Rio Paralympics
We worked collaboratively to research a variety of Paralympic events. We made posters which included a title, facts and interesting graphics. When we had finished, we shared our learning with the rest of the class by presenting our posters to them.
