We braved the snow this morning and had lots of fun playing in the snow! Some of us wrote our names in the snow, Carrie even wrote my name, we built snowmen, drew pictures in the snow and we had a snowball throwing challenge to see who could throw their snowball the furthest.
Today we learned about advent and made our own Christingle decorations. 🍊 🎀
I was a very busy elf last night and decorated our classroom. We have had lots of fun today working in the Christmas Post Office, decorating our Christmas tree, building sleighs for Santa with Lego and creating and colouring paper decorations.
Over the last 2 weeks we have been learning about a Hindu Gods in RME. Today we compared 2 gods and drew them and wrote similarities and differences. Our drawings were fabulous! 👩🎨

Some of us have been bus learning about right angles, quarter and half turns, and creating and following directions.
Look at Finlay’s amazing work. He created his own route and wrote instructions for it. He then got a friend to follow his route in the classroom.

Look at the boys’ amazing handwriting! Today we wrote words beginning with p. The boys and girls came up with lots of fabulous p words! 🌟✍️
Today we were learning about Remembrance Day, ahead of tomorrow. We made our own poppies to wear. Look at how smart we look! 👍🌺
Today we had such an enjoyable afternoon creating rockets! We worked in teams to create rockets that would survive landing back to Earth. We tested them out to see if they would survive from different heights. Some survived, others crashed. We had a lot of fun watching out our rockets land.

Today we’ve been learning a little about the history of Bonfire Night. We learned about Guy Fawkes, we watched a virtual fireworks display, we described our 5 senses at a bonfire gathering and wrote sentences, as well as creating our own fireworks art. Look at our amazing work! I will post photos of our art tomorrow once it has dried.
