We had a few opportunities to play in amongst our busy day!
Some of the girls enjoyed playing in our class cafe and created posters and a menu. I’ll be there on Wednesday for macaroni!
The boys were fascinated by paper planes and made their own to test out.
Some also explored shape and made different models and buildings for our car area.
Today we were learning more about healthy eating. We looked at the healthy food plate and sorted foods into the correct categories. We then created our own healthy plates.

We were tasked by our management team to think about our work in maths but with a mindfulness twist. We never give up and always try our best. I was really impressed with the comments and discussion that the children had and thought I’d share them with you. 💡 🧠
Today we started off by looking at different ancient Egyptian coffin designs and discussing their appearance and who it might have inside. We had some great discussion about detail, wealth and gender.
We then took part in a draw-a-long with the National Museums of Scotland. We drew ancient Egyptians coffins. We added our own detail and colour at the end.

We have started a new mini topic on the Egyptians! Today we were learning about mummification and created our own masks.
We celebrated ‘world sleep day’ in our pyjamas!
Enjoy a good snooze over the weekend! 😴 🛌
During STEM fortnight we were learning about germs. We undertook an experiment and over the holidays something happened…
we were all so fascinated with what had happened to our bread.
warning, do not look if you are eating toast or a sandwich… ⚠️
Please take a look at our Google Classroom for our weather forecast videos we created in a March. ☀️ ☔️ 💨 ❄️ 🌩
They are too big to be posted here.
We created our own mental maths questions for our friends to answer. We then had to assess each other’s work.
