Health Week

This week has been Health Week in school. 1.4 had a visit from a doctor , who spoke about his job in a hospital. The children told him about some of their trips to hospital too. We then got to listen through a stethoscope ,  try on a mask and put bandages on each other. Thanks so much to the doctor ( the dad of a P.1 child) for popping in to see us.

Autumn

We had lots of conkers which we were patiently waiting to open. The children loved seeing the chestnuts which were inside. They had fabulous describing words to say what they looked like – shiny, smooth, giant …..

If you find anything which is a sign of autumn eg. leaves changing colour, chestnuts etc please bring them into school and we can share them with the class.
