Some of us were learning about using symbols to show numbers being greater than, less than or the same as. We know the alligator eats the bigger number. 🐊 Look at our fabulous work!

Yesterday we made puppets and umbrellas for our science topic on materials. We are going to test them out next week to see if they survive when water is poured onto them. ☔️

Some of us have been learning about different vocabulary that means the same as add and subtract. Look at Ruby, Charlotte and Asim’s amazing posters! 🤩

 

Hamza and Karl showed off their knowledge of one more by using cards and writing the next number. Well done boys! 🌟🏆

Hamza, Rhuaridh and a few more boys made a really long chain with the cubes.

Eesa, Leo and Robbie made shapes and patterns with elastic bands.

Finlay and Lochlan enjoyed using Kapla today to build.

 

 

We had lots of fun at the adventure playground this afternoon! We were climbing, swinging, balancing and jumping.

I love the picture of Riley swinging upside down. He had his mouth wide open like this 😮 as he was swinging like a monkey. 🐵

Our climbers managed to get high up on the rock climbing wall! 🧗‍♀️

Today we had a visit from a lady who worked with Dog’s Trust. She told us about the best way to treat dogs and even made us think about  the dogs feelings when we are handling them.

    

     

   

    

Last Wednesday we got a break in the bad weather and enjoyed the sunshine for half an hour to do our Daily Mile .

 

We stayed out for PE and played games with our shadows.

We were listening to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Someone asked, why did the beanstalk grow so tall? This got us thinking about when Jack’s mum threw the seeds out of the window , where did they land ?We decided to try planting seeds on different things and we’re going to watch and see what grows.
