We defeated the ghosts by completing a ghost busters dance!

We had fun making some artwork and magic wands!

Today we learned about astronauts! We looked at the types of training they do, what they have to wear and we even came up with some ideas for what we would take to space if we went. We drew/wrote these on our whiteboards.

We’ve been busy making Christmas card designs and cannot wait to show you them!

Today we learned about travelling to space. We designed our own modes of transport to space. We had lots of rockets and spaceships, but we also had some booster backpacks and jet packs, as well as a unicorn!

We then watched a rocket launch and looked inside a space craft. There were lots of “wows” and gasping faces.

 

We have started our Friday morning with a bang! We’ve been busy completing reading comprehension tasks and doing rainbow writing to learn our selling words.

The stickmen were sequencing events from their story.

We learned about tiling patterns and created our own using 2D shapes. We know that we see tiling patterns in bathrooms and kitchens, on floors and even on roofs.

A few weeks ago we drew our own self portraits. Today, Carrie decided to draw a portrait of her friend Caitlin and gave it to her as a present. Caitlin was so chuffed!
