P7b had a great day celebrating Halloween. We had the chance to see everyones costumes in the afternoon when the infants did a parade round the school 🙂
Fire Brigade Visit
This week, we had a Bonfire Safety Visit from the Fire Brigade. We learned about how to keep safe around fireworks and bonfires, and then we got the opportunity to go out and see the fire engine and use the hose. Thank you for coming in and visiting us!

Autumn Walks
With our Primary 2 Buddies, we explored the signs of Autumn in our local environment. We looked at the colour of leaves, the smells in the air and the bramble bushes. We then created our own Autumn poems based on what we experienced.

P7 Place Value
This week, we have been consolidating our understanding of Place Value. We discussed what we have learned over the term and explored how to multiply and divide by 10, 100 and 1000. We used a variety of games, posters and digital technologies to help us.

Stay and Engage – September
It was so lovely seeing parents and guardians in taking part in our Social Studies stay and engage. Pupils (and parents/guardians) were tasked with the challenge of trying to design a building that could withstand an earthquake. There were lots of incredible designs and inventions. Thank you to everyone involved ☺️
