Each child will receive an account for an online Learning Journal and a parent/carer will be added on as a user for their child’s account. If you wish for an additional parent/carer to be added on, please contact the centre. This account will follow your child during their time in the ECC.

What to expect on your child’s profile
- Your child’s key worker (or other staff within your child’s playroom) will upload observations on a variety of play and learning experiences and activities your child has taken part in during their day in the centre.
- You will be able to see what your child has been learning and taking part in during their session.
- These activities and learning opportunities will link to your child’s learning targets.
- You can “Like” and comment on these posts
Parental Contribution
- We would love to see parents/carers sharing comments of any learning and fun experiences at home, clubs, activities or in the local community etc.
Child’s own Contribution
- We have been introducing the learning journal profiles to the children. Some of the children have been keen to share their own learning and creations that they are proud of.
- With some adult support and supervision, the children are beginning to upload their own learning and add their own “typing”
