Earth Day 2022

To celebrate Earth Day we explored our school garden on a beautiful spring day! The pupils discussed which UNCRC Articles were most relevant to today and decided that Article 24 was very important.

We spent the afternoon planting spinach and radishes to use a source of good nutritious food that we can cook with later!

Primary 6/7 also completed a survey for the UN that aims to uphold children’s rights and protect our planet.

Dumfries House Visit

Our whole school enjoyed a trip out to Dumfries House today.  They spent time at the Educational Farm and Educational Garden, where they planted runner beans and saw a variety of animals!  Primary 6/7 discussed the importance of eating nutritional food and even explained the importance of Article 24 of the UNCRC! #RRSA
